what fuel pump to GET? (b16..)

well my car is acting very weird. there is very low fuel perssure at the fuel lines in the engine bay. and at the same time seems to be running rich. all this black junk on the rear of rear from exhaust. i need told that the filter could be the problem. or the pump. well i have changed the filter.

is it the pump?

oh yeah and because it has low pressure... while at a speed . (say 35) if i slowly give it gas it bogs/ starving. like its not getting enought gas.

help?

which should i get?

If you are running a b16 with just bolt ons or non turbo just get the crx si fuel pump. That's what I did when my hf pump was going out. That's also what Church the tuner recommended. No need to spend money on aftermarket.

on my turbo b16 i put a walbro 255lph high pressure in it, it ran me like 109 with tax, good upgrade if you dont want to worry about it

190 is more than enough for a b16. Do you plan to do more to it? BTW if you go with a HP you will need an adjustable FPR so you can tune the fuel down. There is place on Ebay you can get 255hp for $99 shipped I just got one this week. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

I got my 190 Walbro from a business on Honda Tech for like $79 shipped. I think it was Lightening Motorsports. It's plenty fuel flow for a NA B16.

Curious... I have the same problem and need to change mine out.

Q: Can you purchase a fuel pump with too much flow with a fpr connected?

Reason asking is that I plan to boost, but not now and I need to replace now. Rather purchase what I need than to buy two.
