Video: CRX + B18C1 + BOLT-ONS
Here's a video of my runs from yesterday. Enjoy.
By the way, racing in 100 degrees weather is not exactly my definition of fun. It was super hot on Sunday! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtq74QFr5Ak http://i56.tinypic.com/347bq5v.jpg |

Re: Video: CRX + B18C1 + BOLT-ONS
haha sorry i was in a rush earlier.. couldnt provide more feedback.
the shifts sound very slow, especially 1st to 2nd. i think this is cutting your time a lot. i wonder what motor was in that civic you lost to at the 2nd to last run. couldnt be stock... possibly FI? |
Re: Video: CRX + B18C1 + BOLT-ONS
I didn't want to bang the gears from 1st to 2nd because I would spin the slicks. I tried lowering the slick pressure to 10 psi and still no good. Towards the last two runs I lowered the pressure to 9psi, which felt better but still a little wheel spin. Perhaps I need more seat time but overall I had a really fun time. The purple civic coupe was a B18C1 turbo setup.

Must be the low altitude that allows you to run those numbers. |

Re: Video: CRX + B18C1 + BOLT-ONS
Thank you for the positive feedback. I was really hoping for some mid 12's but I couldn't quite get the 60 foot down to where I wanted it to be (1.6s). Oh well, I had a blast anyways. :)

Re: Video: CRX + B18C1 + BOLT-ONS
that set up should be good for low to mid 12's with the right slicks and a better launch.
Nice video |
