i did a b16 obd1 in my ef and the engine wiont start everything is hooked up but i think my alternator wire tapped metal so may have shorted out my ecu. now my check engine light is on but wont blibk when i jump the harness. could this mean that my ecu is fried. how do i check to see if it is. my fuel pump wont go on and i have no spark. main relay is not the problem cause i put a diff one in and it did nothing.

 

with everything hooked up, with check engine light on, but no blinks from the ecu led, you've got a fried ecu. to make sure you have a fried ecu and didnt just make a different mistake in the wiring use your stock ecu (if it's dpfi) and see if the same thing happens. if so, you just made a wiring mistake. if not, and your engine starts, get a new ecu or chip yours if its a "chipable" pm6 to run your engine. good luck.
