Awesum.. DIY paint job?

ub3rn00ber 08-31-2006 12:01 PM

Re: (SECURITY)

no a cheapo 800 job, but it included fab of a rear pannel for where the tail lights use to be. Its not the best, but its not a show car either.

what kinda motor are you ganna run in this drag crx?

ub3rn00ber 08-31-2006 12:33 PM

Fully built b20 bottom end, with a fully built b16 head, coustom intake / manafold / coldair intake from james at jg fab. ya its allmotor https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif ... But i have some nitrus if i want

Mr_Si-R 08-31-2006 01:51 PM

Re: (ub3rn00ber)

no nos, all motor...or turbo, but never nitrous

JG-Fabrications 08-31-2006 02:03 PM

why?

i dunno i just never liked the whole concept of h/p in a bottle. thats not a cheaters way to get fast...IMHO...thats just me. i think in order to have a "fast car" it should be built, but thats just me. plus i think its dangerous

hondaboy90 08-31-2006 04:04 PM

what type of cage is that

Lol. Slapping on a 50 shot is not having a fast car. If you think someone doing that is a "cheater" you're a moron. It's just like any other type of forced induction. Some people prefer instant torque. They ususally go nitrous. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

In order to have a fast car you have to: install the nitrous kit properly, install the proper safety features, get proper tuning, build the drivetrain to handle the torque only nitrous can give, buy slicks to get all that power to the ground, and of course BUILD the motor to run a big enough shot to be fast. If that's not "built" I don't know what is.

It's only dangerous if you are innapropriately prepared for it.

Roll cage was done by james at jg fab, its a 10 point. It should weigh 1700-1800 with me in it + motor installed, when i do more weight reduction (solid rear axle, cut the interior metal out, ext) it will hopefully be 100 lbs lighter.

SETI20 08-31-2006 06:07 PM

hardcore... I like it

ub3rn00ber 08-31-2006 06:46 PM

Thanks, its my first one, hopefully i dont plow into a wall at 110+
Oh and its not shown but i got bogaurd raceing wheels and big fat slicks (fat for a all motor anyway)

Have you ever had nitrous or a turbo?.. Ive ran both nitrous cars.. and turbocharged cars...

Turbocharged cars are just as dangerous if not more dangerous than nitrous.. Almost any car can handle a little 50 wet shot of nitrous....

PS: Nice Raptor.. I got a 700R Raptor ! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Contender25 08-31-2006 06:58 PM

This is true, if it's set up CORRECTLY, key word here being CORRECTLY, then everything will be fine. I been in nitrous car before and shit that is BAM right on the spot no turbo lag, and it's fuckin RAAAAAWWWWWW SON. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Tippyman 08-31-2006 07:13 PM

Re: (Contender25)

Nothing else will deliver INSTANT torque like nitrous.

Just look at this curve:

It's a D16Z6 (stock) with an NX 50 wet shot:
