How do i get the timig cover off!!??
 

Im tryin to get the plastic timing cover off from behind the gears ib ny b18a1 how the hell do i do this ? Ive taken out every bolt ..its hittin my gears for some reason and need to get it off ..please help me out

remove valve cover thats holding it from above. then theres about 3 10mm bolts holding that cover in. if it still wont come off, then you'd work your way down to the crank pulley where its holding the lower plastic piece on. but i dont think you'd have to work down that far.

Hm....ive taken all the top bolts off and almost all the rear ones...its the plastic peice behind the cam gears ....Still not movin for me

Yea i know http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsad.gif looks like i might be screwed ..Im not gonna take the cam gears off ...Ah well ...Maybe ti will be ok ..the gears are eatin into the plastic though :\

yeah just lift off the valve cover then undo the two screws on the cover and take it off. i broke the back hole where the bolt goes and i had to glue it back together. no biggie. i also cut off that lip so now you dont have to remove the valve cover to get it on off. just things to keep in mind.

I tried taken the 2 bolts off ...its not moving at all
