Is EF9 a subset of EF? Please educate me.
Only cars that have "ef" in the vin are jdm cars.
Civic 3 and 4 doors can be ef1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9
crx would be a ef8.
When people call their 88-91 civic/crx a ef and they are from the states with a usdm car, they are really either a "ed" for 3 and 4 doors/crx, and "ee" for the wagons.
A ef9 is a 88-91 jdm civic sir with the b16a

Thank you, the first response answered the question I had. I was looking at a re-upholstery kit that said it was for an EF9 and the pieces for the rear seat headrests had me confused. I believe that it will fit my Si and those pieces will just be extra unless I add some JDM/EDM rear headrests.
