Ed9 16v 1.6 crx, do I need to upgrade the knuckles for big brake kits?
I have a UK crx 1.6 16v and want to put bigger brakes on. I can't find kits for my specific car. Do I have to swap the knuckles for vt knuckles before I can upgrade?
Thanks for you help

depends what size of brakes you want to use.
i'm asssuming you're on stock 242mm uk 16v disks at the moment?
you can upgrade to the 280mm VW corrado G60 disks with an EP3 or FN2 type R caliper and theyll bolt straight up.

need to, no. Might be a good idea though. Upgrading the bearing size of the hubs is almost always a good thing if you plan on pushing your car. The mini rotor and prelude/type r/crv caliper is a cheap way to make the front brakes better. Rear disks and a brake prop valve and you'll be in business.
