No, the '90 - '97 Accord struts won't work. You need the '98 - '02 Accord setup. Even if you do get the later model ones, you need stock top-hats for the front. The rear bushing sleeves need to be cut down as well. The drop is decently low. Not sure how much drop you are going for.

I have a set of Function & Form Type 1 all ready to bolt up that need one rear shock replaced if you are interested in buying them. If you (or anyone for that matter) are interested then PM me.

I've tried oem springs from a 98-02 accord before and they were just huge compared to mine. I'm wondering say if I just used the springs from that 90-95 accord and use my gr2s on my car right now, would that work? If not my other option is a friend of mine has a spare set of oem springs and tophats for the v. Thinking I want to cut the springs on that And have another friend of mine fab me some extended top hats. And if all fails I can always just go back to stock. Any experience with this? I know it's not the greatest idea but I'm really tight on money and pretty much can't really spend anything right now due to Bills. But if anyone has done this before and it worked for them let me know. Thanks

No, it's not a good idea in the slightest. Be smart and don't touch your vehicle if you can't afford to do so properly. You will only decrease the vehicles reliability. The biggest issue will be when you hit pot holes or bumps, bad things happen.

When you said "springs and shocks" it was assumed you meant lowering springs and struts. In your case the struts are of absolutely no use to you. You could always cut springs but it is ALWAYS frowned upon, especially with stock shocks. They are valved for stock height and spring rates. The top hat's would somewhat take care of the height issue, but they tend to still blow anyways. These things are some heavy pigs. Whatever you decide, then I wish you the best of luck!
