Shaking under Acceleration
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forums. This is my first thread created. I have seen several threads about a car shaking and all of them have been solved. I have already done all of the maintenance thought of so i come to you.......Here is a list of the things that have been replaced
Upper and lower control arm left side
cv axles
removed propeller shaft
struts
sway bar links
full steering rack
ball joints on right side
The vehicle shakes terribly under acceleration. shakes a very slight amount(hardly noticeable) when driving at constant speed or braking. I cannot find out the issue. Any ideas would be appreciated. I am wondering if a harmonic balancer could cause shaking like that?

Have you thought about a bad wheel bearing? when the car is jacked up and the front wheels are off the ground do the wheels have any vertical axis play?
Wheel bearings are VERY common on the first generation CRVs. In most cases vibration under acceleration only can be traced back to bad axles or wheel bearings.
I've had several first gens usual problem is the front rubber bushing in the rear trailing arm is dry rot ... can almost guar that is the issue.. difficult to see but check it.

The rear rubber bushing won't cause vibration from acceleration. I have changed my fair share of them. They will cause poor alignment and if it gets bad enough a knocking sounds from bumps and possibly during deceleration.
since you've removed your drive shaft I'll rule out bad u-joints. Have you had your alignment checked? Or your tires balanced? Out of balanced tires can definitely cause the shaking you're having.
A burn out at the track, which can cause wheel hop. Its the closest thing i can compare it to. I havent ever personally had a bearing bad without noise. Honda only.
