2003 CRV blinking D codes
I manually pulled code 26 from the blinking D indicator, but I have been unable to find what that code is or any transmission code for that matter. Please help asap, my daughter needs her car.
thanks in advance!!

Hello,
It would help if you could advise what symptoms you are having with your CRV, also mileage and any service information.
Below is the generic information relating to error code P0026 .
Symptoms of a P0026 DTC may include: MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illumination Poor acceleration or engine performance Decreased fuel economy
Potential causes of a P0026 diagnostic trouble code may include: Low engine oil level or contaminated oil Clogged oil system Malfunctioning control solenoid Malfunctioning camshaft actuator Timing chain/belt loose or incorrectly adjusted Malfunctioning ECM/PCM.
Rgs,
Kev

the Drive indicator started blinking. No performance changes noted. No CEL light on. I manually pulled code 26 ( 2 slow flashes, then 6 rapid flashes) of the drive indicator. I believe the code you gave me was for a CEL code, not the transmission.
FYI check engine light code 26 = ODB2 >>> P0026 of which I have given you the correct generic information.

Kev
If the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is retrieved by shorting the SCS terminals instead of using an OBD-II reader/scanner, DTC code 26 is equivalent to P0845 - 3rd Clutch Pressure Switch.

Thank you so very much Tech8. I dont know where you found that chart cuz I was searching all over the place, but I really appreciate it. I will be ordering that part right away.
Normally, I wouldn't just throw a part at an issue; but, it may just be the switch. Here is an image of the location, it has a Blu/Wht wire. Blu/Wht is a wire with blue colored insulation and a white stripe running through it.

"D" blinking? No symptoms? Pulling a code for the 3rd clutch pressure switch? Before you condemn and replace the 3rd clutch pressure switch, check the ATFluid level with a warm engine and on level ground. If the level is 6-8oz low, the D will flash and the code will be thrown. If the ATF is low, you have a leak somewhere. Start looking at the axle seals on the trans. It may appear to be a very minor leak, but you will loose 6-8oz of ATF over 1-2000 miles. Most of the time, the right axle seal leaks first.
