B16 with bolt on's, my setup consists of... Comptech Ice Box, JDM ITR 4-1 header, Mugen Twin loop, with custom 2.5in piping with a borla muffler, P28 ECU chipped by katman from JDM hondaparts. The program should be similar to stock.... And my VAFC.

Other misc stuff, that probally played no part... Mugen radiator cap, fan switch, thermo, NGK blue's, and NGK iriway 7's. Exedy clutch and flywheel to round things out.

So what ya think.... final whp = 160.3

You're putting to the wheels nearly what it's supposed to put at the crank in stock trim, so I'd have to say I'm suitably impressed too. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif. Especially considering that you really haven't done anything too drastic mod-wise, just good tuning apparently.

Keep up the good work! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/embeer.gif

HP https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif TORQUE https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

damn hondas can't produce any torque...thats only 9 more ft/lbs, than mine.
I'd like some of that hp though https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Your Air/Fuel chart looks like you were running deadly lean at 6000 RPM, and it looks like it was tuned out.... but it looks like you are doing good...

Damn good numbers moe for what you have. Now just go on a diet so you can actually use those solid numbers out of that motor against me. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

As a side note Peter with a CTR cam on stock valvetrain and same basic bolt on's put up the same number untuned.

How much change did the tunning produce?

Archidictus 09-29-2003 06:58 AM

Re: (FifthGearOnline)

Your torque curve looks like the dyno had a fucking seizure https://honda-tech.com/forums/images.../emexclaim.gif .

Great peak numbers, though, and that HP graph looks really smooth. Can you even feel the VTEC crossover? If that air fuel dip at 6k rpms wasn't fixed, I'd be weary about beating on it in the upper revs until it is.

thats torque to the wheels. If you have a stock dx then your torque should be quite a bit lower than that at the wheels https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Moe 09-29-2003 07:38 AM

Re: (Archidictus)

It was done in a dynapak dyno, i hear the torque figures it puts out are crazy or something.

As for the dip at 6k you got me.... im still trying to understand Air/fuel mixtures, i never ran the car with that ecu. The first time i used it was when i had it installed and dyno tuned.

DX... it was 120, and i got in about 7 or so runs, and it was "touched by the hand of God" https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif Dan Ponze at godspeed tuned it.

And WHERES MY FUCKIN COOKIE! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

I was actually really suprized by the numbers, i was thinkin i would get out of there at the mid 150's, but when i baselined at 150 i was kinda amazed! Cams are in the future, while i was there i picked up a set of ITR intake valves, for my "complete" na build up. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

cruzersi99 09-29-2003 08:37 AM

Re: (Archidictus)

The scale for the torque is what makes it look so crazy. If it were scaled similar to the HP curve it would be much smoother.

Moe- send me a link to your charts or e-mail them. I can't see chit other than the final peak numbers.

Moe 09-29-2003 09:04 AM

Re: (cruzersi00)

Pictrue trail resize's them, thats the size that they were scanned at, i just rotated the image so that it would be eaiser to see.

Just right click the image and "properties" and then open it in its own browser, i think its bigger that way. Edit: so it isnt, save it on your PC and thne use photoshop if you have it, to view it. Cuz picture trail is ghey and they resize the image, im using "image mixer" that i got with my camera, and when i view it in there it looks fine.

The twin loop is an axel back.... the borla section is used as a resenator. And in case you couldnt put 2 and 2 together i have no cat. OBD-1 conversion boss.

My b16 is USDM yo, b16a2 https://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL193...5/33699837.jpg https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif
