Quick Q: Fixed Compression Gauge...
I had a compression done on another B16A and the numbers came out 240 accross. The engine was cranked over more than 7 times.Would this give you higher numbers than normal?
Also theres no way to rig a compression guage to give you the number you want is there? Thanks |

Re: Quick Q: Fixed Compression Gauge... (P@@RB@Y)
bring your own guage if youre worried. Once it reaches the max compression it wont go up any more, so no cranking it over 7 times wont give you higher #'s, you might even have to crank it more than that... Im sure a comp. guage can be rigged, but that would be too much of a pita and you would have to be pretty smart.

I looked at the gauge and it was all the way down. Then every cyc. went to 239-240.Last time it read 215 across.
