The problem is the car won't crank or turn over its like its needs more power or so. I dont know what to do. I swap out the ECU with the 97 & 99 LS Manual ECU. I cant figure it out can anybody help me.

Its like when you put the key in your own car and try to crank it up and it just cranks and cranks but doesnt turn over.

check you distributor...or check to see if you have spark..

take out a plug wire...hook up a plug to the end of the wire...hold it next to a ground in you engine bay...

crank...

there should be a visible arc coming from the plug to the ground...

also wear some heavy gloves so you wont shock yourself...

if not, then it is possibly your distributor...if you have a helms, you can check resistance on each of the different components of the dist..the ignitor(sp), coil....to see if you can pinpoint the exact problem....

I just had that same prob with my b18c...it was my distributor...no spark...i kinda took the easy way and bought a refurbished one...but hey theres a one year warranty on it so if it goes out.. im covered...

good luck!!

If i remember correctly there is a neutral safety switch you have to bypass from the auto trans. It's the switch that tells the car it is in neutral or park and it's safe to start. I hope this helps some.
