Ah I see.... Did you get them from the dealer? Are they more expensive than getting them from an online website? I just want the best lighting period. Your climate looks exactly how I want mine so I just want to make sure I'm using the same stuff. Is this what you used?

Also, how happy are you with Autozone bulbs for the climate? It looks okay but its hard to tell what it really looks like in person. How satisfied are you on a 1-10 scale with the climate and would you have possibly done it differently if you were to do it again?

I didn't replace my climate control bulbs, so yeah, they're stock Honda bulbs w/o the blue condoms. I would just buy the Honda bulbs so you know you're getting the right ones.

Yes, that is the lens repair kit I used.

I never used the autozone bulbs for my climate control, only the amber ones for the speedo cluster. I'm 100% satisfied with how the climate control came out.

That is, until I do a real JDM auto climate control retrofit, but that's going to be a heck of a lot more work than this project was.

 

JDM climate would be nice! I wonder how much work is involved.

What do you think about your cluster bulbs? Are you happy with them color/brightness wise? I'm still unsure what to do for the cluster.

 

No complaints about the cluster. Will probably transplant them whenever I get my JDM cluster installed.

nice fm...i just did mines today and it looks great.. now im waiting on my amber bulbs for my cluster n clock.... where did u get ur amber deck anyways that looks sick.. i been trying to find one too

 

Wow, it's great to see this thread revived again. The deck I had I *think* was an 01-05 Civic deck...didn't fit, unfortunately. You can't see that in these pics though. I'd then replaced it with an amber CD deck from a '99 or '00 Civic Si (EK). That one fit perfectly. I don't use it anymore though...it's sitting on the shelf. I've got a Gathers deck w/EQ now...have to post good pics of the new interior sometime soon.

Fm, do you think you could take some new shots of your cluster? Running out of options here for my cluster and I want to see how the Autozones would do. Maybe try and play with the exposure to get it close to looking in person?

Kind of, there are is a spot or 2 that isn't lit perfectly. Honestly, it could also be the camera making it look worse.
I have noticed the cluster isn't as bright as the old DX cluster was.

It doesn't bug me. Although, I wont be buying red bulbs anymore. I really cannot stand looking at the red light's the cluster.

They may just be getting ready to be replaced again, they have been in for a long time, and are fading.
