hey HT i have a 99 civc ex. trying to get it to smog but the idle is to high, and also the engine light came on. p0505. IAC Malfuction. so i replaced the Idle air control(iac) but stil engine light wil come on for the same thing. was wondering what can it be?

checked:all conecters conected properly, both o2 sensors, fuses, replaced IAC, and even throtle body, vacum leaks.

wondering what it can be. idles at 1500, in park. thanks for helping

 

ive been plagued by the P0505 for 3 months now after motor swap. Have you had any luck? I sure havent!
