How is camber with everyone?

I have blown shocks on H&R springs. The camber is way off, my tires are already shot after about 6 months. I was hoping that with my new KYB AGX installed it will fix the problem. Should i get camber plates also, or a kit? Let me know thanks.

I'm lowered with no fender gap. No uneven wear at all. No camber kit.

how would you make one for the rear...shouldnt a kit take care of both the front and the rear?

when u lower your car u get negative camber like this /
the more washers u use the more positive camber u get \
u have / neg camber and put some \ positive camber u get l which is 0 camber

sorry its not that good.

.BigSexy 02-26-2005 04:47 PM

that description worked for me...but where does the bolt and washers go to improve camber, and how do you know you are at 0 camber?

Read my DIY suspension at the end with the "washer trick".

im on neuspeed race springs with stock shocks about to blow...no gap between the fenders and tires...no camber issues really...it's noticeable more on the the fronts, but it doesnt look too bad

Me too, i used to be on stock shocks and r1 coilovers...no problems at all. I didnt even need an alignment.

You should always get an alignment done after any suspension work if you have any doubts or if your car wanders driving down road https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Yes - however, only toe is adjustable on a stock Honda double wishbone suspension. Camber and caster are not adjustable without aftermarket suspension components.

Toe is the major factor in uneven tire wear anyway. Camber and caster do not play as significant of a role.
