Is your srs light on? Cause if it is it is most likely your cable reel. They are on the same relay and I have the same problem as you.

My horn didn't work either but I could hear the clicking noise from the relay. It turned out it was the wiring to the horn itself had coroded. I just needed to cut the first six inches and hook up new wires.

Re: horn doesnt honk!!!! (b16a93cx)
put power straight from your battery to the horn if it doesnt work, bad horn. work your way back from there for power to ground causing a short. if you have to pass inspection or something wire it to your own swith to bypass all your other possible bad connections.

purposly disabled the horn .. i like playing with the horn buttons while driving lol
|
it is possible it might be the horn relay which in on the upper right side of the under dash fuse box. I dont remember the color of the wire off the top of my head, but if you ground one of them, the horn should work. Gt a test light and check it out. I tore my cable reel accidentally and my horn stopped working. I had another cable reel sitting around and popped it in and I have my horn back.

check the ground, 75% of the time the ground has come loose and just need to be re-attached or tightened.

Re: (MichaelJComputer)
I have one of this big loud, I think they are air horns in my ride. I hated the weak sound of the stockers. It's also pretty easy to wire up your horn. |
