Re: Help with CEL 3, map sensor (lilobusta)
I am also having map sensor problems mine is toast. on your d15b7 does it go on the intake manifold, or on the firewall? I have a d15 map sensor, from my old engine, ill trade ya for your z6 one. also are you clearing your ecu? under your hood there is a fuse box , pull the 7.5 amp fuse closest to the firewall this will clear your codes

Re: Help with CEL 3, map sensor (lilobusta)
Are you boosted? Boost is the number 1 reason to throw the map sensor off.

Luserkid...Nope no boost...thats how i blew my z6 https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif
sonicivic...i've tried other d15b7 sensors and still getting the cell and it goes on the manifold |
check all vacuums and connect it directly to the nipple on the throttle body. resey ecu after each try

Re: (Andres-eh2)
Did you reset your ecu after you swaped the sensor? If not try that with the B7 sensor in it.

Re: (Luserkid)
Yeah i did reset the ecu(unplug neg. for like 30 sec...right?) and all vacuum are on tight...i'll double check though...

Re: Help with CEL 3, map sensor (lilobusta)
yup all vacuum lines are tight...what else? anyone?

before when i had the map code going off i would reset ecu for 30 seconds, nothing. dont know if it makes a difference but it worked after i unplugged the postive for 15 minutes
