header flange and cat flange questions
I just recently picked up a hatch with a gsr swap. It has a FGK header and collector. The collect is 2.5 i believe and the cat is only 2.25. So of course they aren't fitting, my question is can i just buy a flange and have it welded to the cat or will that not even work since the cat is only 2.25?

Re: header flange and cat flange questions (crazyguy)
Yea the last shop i went to last weekend..didn't have any flanges laying around. So i guess i'll try going to another shop. Should i have them put a bigger flange on the cat side or a smaller flange on the collector side?

I would definitely get the bigger flange on the cat so you don't bottleneck the header. |
