get 14's or 15's, 17's weigh to much they are all show and no go

17's weigh too much....period...and if you odn't think that 4 lbs makes a difference....then....well put 17's on your ride
Doesn't matter if you are running boost

*shakes head*

17's are heavy. most of them are ugly.
the ONLY good thing about 17's is that they are 7" wide. but you can get 15's that are 7" wide. and with a set of good radials or azenis you dont spin 3rd gear with your mighty 220whp...

That pic helped me decide to get rid of them They were really cool rims imo just not proportional to the car.

centerline makes 17 that weigh like 12.5lbs each. That is lighter then alot of 15's

You know all this talk about 15 inch rims wasnt an issue a few years back- everybody wanted 17's everybody wanted 18's then 19's

i dont get it--
if one man wants 17s cus it looks good- then let him
one man wants 15s because its lighter then good for him-

do we all want to look alike? Ill tell u i dont want to look like every other hatch,

tell me if this sounds common--

"Fake spoon lip- slipstreams- carbon fiber hood and a duckbill wing..." every hatch across the USA and why would u want other people to look just like ur hatch?? i dunno-- if there wasnt rice, there wouldnt be nice we would all just have nice cars and crazy competition--

IMO 17's arnt big at all. I'd get 18's if I had the chance, but of course I wouldnt go racing with them on.

Heres my sedan

I have 16 inch Volks on my civic and it looks.....for lack of a better word......right.

I thought about 17's but it just seems like they are too big to me. I had 17's on my integra and they made the car look right.

I would never go past 2 size bigger then stock wheels on any vehicle (Integra...stock is 15 inch>>>>>Biggest 17 inch. On a Civic stock is 14 inch>>>>>biggest is 16 inch).

Would you put 18's on a integra.........Its kinda the same thing to me.

Now I may consider putting 17's on my car in the future after I'm tired of looking @ it the way it sits now.

I would tend to agree, especially if the car does not have some sort of body kit(excluding front lips). Most tacky kits make the car look larger so the larger rim kind of fits.

I had 18" Ro-Ja wheels on my '99 Si last season. I only had a Greddy front lip on the car and the wheels looked enormous. That is why I'm going back down to a 17" wheel. With my stock front lip I think 16" wheels look best.

Again I agree with ApexiITR. Two sizes over stock seems to be a good measure.

17's...in my opinion...are too damn big for an eg (maybe even too big for EKs)...
I think that 16s are the biggest that I'd go on an eg...but go with what you want

ON side a side note I think that EK's can get away with 17's as opposed to EG's.
