Guess my HP!! I'm too poor to Dyno it:[ help me out
Okay so i have a 95' civic and i've had alot of arguments about how much horsepower i have.
I realize the only way too know for sure is to Dyno it, but to be realistic, i'm not going to
have the money to do that any time soon & furthermore i don't think it would be worth it
unless you have 200+ HP. If i had to guess i would say 170-180, but i could be way off,
so please help me out & give me your honest opinion. thanks
Here's my mods...

y so negative? not like a "ls teggy" is anything special not to hard to beat, dont see why youd say theres no way in hell he couldnt beat one, and btw correct me if im wrong but i dont think ud need 5th gear running a 15.3 anyway, so my point is quit being so negative, this is the reason i never post in this forum because i know my posts will be pulled apart and get negative responces
every forum has one of these threads . . . . i love that the first thread i read on the forum once now registered is this.
i may have to go digging through the fail pictures to a lot of the responses on here!

torqueless wonder or not, they are still weak *** ****.
and yes the d16 is probly a rotating pile of ****, all im saying is neither of them will be fast without forced induction or compleltly built, a b16 running 15s is not fast either,
and really a mustang running low fourteens is not fast,
but to each there own i guess

B16's arent really that fast. And a B16 would only really feel like a night and day difference if your coming from a D15B7 or a B8 CX motor. A turbo D feels like a night and day difference between any stock motor swap that is available. Unless its a J35 :X

And actually at the 1/4 mile mark, my car tops out in 4th at 7.2k b/c of my p28, so I could of shifted into 5th to help slow the car down instead of throwing it into neutral at 90mph.
alright stupid I have a 89 crx w/d16z6 w/p28 stock ecu and harness. Its bone stock engine w/short ram intake w/k&n filter and header 4 2 1 and my fastest time was 15.8 so get over it.I have smoked several Ls's and a couple stock b16's.
actually MSD is better you can set your rev limit higher like 8000 rpm so if you dont shift exactly at 7800 rpm you can still hit your next gear without loseing any time on the 1/4 mile. (missing a gear) and you can add a 2 step
All that bolt ons and you are still running 16.4? That's like my stock 05 Civic EX AUTOMATIC running a 1/4. Did I mention it was an auto and that D17A2 is only VTEC-E.
You should be running atleast 16 flat or even a 15.8 with those I/H/E.
No way you can even come close to B series, and yet a 3000GT.
Maybe they just let off the foot peddle, because that's what I always do when I reach 90+ and they are still flooring it like they are being chased by the cops.

you can set rev limiter to 8k with a chipped ecu and 2 step, and i very highly doubt your can miss a gear and not loose anytime, thats saying the bull **** msd setup makes him a better shifter and i insure it does not!
with out a tune that stuff is only worth nearly 15-20whp. You only have four bolt ons that would increase power, and they are on a stock ecu. maybe 140 at the crank minus drivetrain losses, I'd say about 110whp. Nowhere near a B. B18C1 stock runs 137.5whp on a Mustang Dyno.
obviously you have never raced at a 1/4 mile.If you have then you dont know ****.
Too mister MSD/D-series hater

However i did see car setups like yours at MIDOHIO race course in a stripped CRX and kick the pants off most everything out there, vettes and porsches included.

no its not. its all crap, its not nessacary for mods such as his.

MSD wires does not add horsepower. there spark plug wires are design for withstanding more abuse. There coils and ignition boxes may, but they focus on burning all the fuel. If your engine already does a good job, than you won't see a jump in power. It is a little more noticeable on high powersetups though. And they do NOT have honda quality. I have much experience in that.
