But isn't the vti dohc. And doesn't dohc redline at 8200rpm or near it.

I think this came out from a european car with a sohc diseal motor.

my speedo goes to 130.. on my CX hatch every other speedo ive seen on a civic in the us 92-95 goes to 130

"This cluster is factory Honda cluster, and I have about five of them. It is in MPH, but I don't know why because I got it in Hong Kong. I know that the redline is a little low, but as long as your computer is set to go pass that, the needle will go over it. So no worries. Anymore question, just let me know.

UK is strange...every where in europe we have km/h in the UK mph

every where we have the euro...they have english pounds

 

i think out of a 1.5lsi, or it could have been the 1.6esi

both are very similar

 

its the non-VTi cluster based in UK.

I know, cause I have one that came from there. A buddy got me the wrong one when he was there (I wanted the VTi that rev to 8100RPM). It took a few months to figure it out (I call a Honda dealership up there got the whole scoop on it, thank you Marco if your reading this, lol)

Now, this guy on ebay claims he got it from Asia, that part I don't know. Maybe?

i can verify thats its a uk spec cluster. my dad has the exact same cluster in his car. '94 civic lsi (eg4). btw it luminates green and yes we use mph in the uk.

Both great brittain and ireland use miles it may have well been from either of those or countless other territories. If the speedo going to 140 is something that you feel is a necessity than by all means pony up the dough. It's clearly from a single cam vtec model probably a coupe.

yea it is true, but mine actually reads 125 clearly not 130..but of course i know it goes to 130...and the cluster we are talking about reads clearly 140 not 135...
