car bogged then ....wont start again
 
well i was driving to pick somethings up for my car ...daily routine..got in myt car started it let warm up a bit and then left the house.... weel drove for about 5mins and the car kind of miss fired,i didnt think nothin of it so i kept driving..When stoopped at the stop sign, it still seem fine.as soon as i gave it gas it kind it started to boog really bad and my car started to shake and idle wierd..well i pulled over .and it was fine again til i gave it gas again so i pulled over again .shutoff the car ,then the car just cranked popped and backfired some...well i bought a new dizzy and still nothin just cranks..

Motor: JDM D15b OBD-1
Car: 93 eg HB

sounds like ur timing belt could have skipped a tooth

I sounds to me like the fuel pump, I would check and make sure you are getting the propper pressure to the fuel rail, if you don't have adequate pressure the fuel won't atomize and your car will not run. Good luck.

good point.. i forgot about that. check the main relay. there known to go out in cold climates.

this happen in the summer ...and it was about 100degrees outside..so ive been without a car for maybe 2months

ive Been doing everything else to my car .but fix that problem..give me time to fix cosmetic things.and get things straight..this is next on my to do list ..cause im going to need my car up and running again

I would take off the intake system, spray a little starter fluid or carb cleaner down the troat of the intake manifold while a friend trys to start it, and see what happens. If the car starts, stumbles, then dies it is probably your f/pump. if the car won't start at all, it is probably timing or spark.

well im getting spark i know that i check all the plugs .plus i got a new dizzy

Forgot about the new distributor, definately try the carb cleaner trick though.

yeah imma try that in a lil bit and see what happens..got to find carb cleaner first
