can wrong valve adjustment cause smog not to pass??????
i have a 97 civic lx, i have set the valves to 6 intank and 7 exhast, it does not sound so good, but will it cause it to fail smog????

What do you mean you set 6 to intake and 7 to exhaust?
oh did you mean .006 and .007? I think you could fail for not having your valves right, because the it could be leaking exhaust or something. Im probably wrong but i know that valve adjustments can help you on smog, just dont know why. |

yes you will get high NOX due to no valve overlap, adjust them to specs |
now i am throwing a code, it saids 67, anyone knows what that is exactly???

I think thats the 2nd O2 sensor. Do you have your CAT on? Usually goes on when you take it off. My book just says Catalyst Efficiency below level. Meaning CAT is not doing what it's suppose to be doing.

yes the cat. is still on, it used to come on once in a while and i used to reset it from the battery, every thing is stock,
