Can anyone help upgrading d15b7 (how to d16a6 cam, etc.)

I would like to know if anyone has done a how to on how to put the d16a6 cam in the d15b7 and everything I will need. I have also heard about people putting the z6 intake on the b7. I might be getting one free in a trade deal, so what will that do? I don't see how that will help anything but let me know if it will.

What other things can I do to the engine and please leave as much detail as possible about them.

Everything'll bolt right up.

Though to get proper use out of ur new cam shaft you'd have to chip a P28 (or run a programmable piggyback) ECU and have it dyno tuned - your current fuel tables/ignition timing is for a B7 cam - not an A6 - they need tuning on a dyno if you expect to get gains form them...

The gains will be minimal - even if properly tuned.

no chipping of the ECU will be needed.

You'll find out the ign/fuel tables are nearly identical

Sept 1999, D15B7 with Z6 intake and A6 can, IHE, P28 ECU.....6800 limiter due to CEL 22.....
