they will work fine for you. I have the str and it looks exactlly the same. Put a liquid gasket arond the cam seal just for protection when to come to install it.

is it called a cam seal or a cam cap?

i need the one that is next to the distributor. the little plastic black thing.

i went to the dealer and asked for a cam seal and he gave me something that looked kind of like a spark plug gasket deal (the one that goes under the valve cover). he didn't know what i was talking about.

If you are looking for the exhaust seal and want to go oem I think the itr piece is plastic with an o-ring instead of the hard rubber like those found on the b16.

EDIT: I just checked and cross referanced the pn and they are all the same 12513-P72-003

Either they are all that way now or that part is just exclusive to japan because thats where I lived when I bought it.

DAMN that thing is bling BLINGING lol would it fit any Honda engine like it says?i find it a little hard to believe that it fits every one....

i thought they were all plastic now and had the o ring. my friend has an itr motor and i saw his "cam seal" and it was the plastic one with an o ring.

i'll probably call the Acura dealership tomorrow and ask them if they have one. i need to know what its called though.

a cam cap is a metal brace that holds the cams down from the top in the cam journals.
