air condition experts help... 94 civic jdm d15b
the air condition WORKED fine, when i purchased the vehicle in August. the issue was the compressor went out.
i swapped out my AC compressor for a used unit purchased on EBAY... i installed it. i got new discharge/suction rubber seals and a new belt for it.
FYI: the EVAP/CHARGE was professionally done by a shop.
when i turn on the air condition COLD, the clutch disengages sometimes and warm air flows out. this cycle last for periods of 5+ minutes at a time...
what can be wrong?

FYi...
this happens randomly... some days it works flawless. others, it does what i originally posted. usually, on warmer/hotter days.
RONJ: is there a troubleshooting list you are following when you tell me to check the pulley/armature and coil?

The A/C compressor is turned off and on by a clutch mechanism that uses a magnetic force produced by the coil. If the gap becomes slightly to wide due to wear or the coil has weakened, then the compressor clutch can intermittently fail, similar to the problem you describe.
Thread was from January. One would hope the issue was resolved. If you're having the "same" issue follow the troubleshooting advice in post #2 & #4.
