99-00 fog lights

Today i tried installing my oem fog lights on my 00 SI. I read the instructions properly and installed the harnesses. When i hit the switch i had no luck the fog lights did not turn on. So i went back and double checked the install and it was correct. I then checked the fuses and they were fine. I then check the voltage on both harnesses and everything was getting voltage. Then i checked all the grounds. Everything was good. Then i was like what the hell. My friend came over today and i tried hooking the fogs up to his harness and the fogs worked fine. My only thought is my A/c, power steering, cruise control, and winshiels washer fluid are disconnected also my radiator fan is hard wired. Could any of these parts being disconnected affect the fog light harness. Also all the grounds for these parts have been reconnected. So what is wrong why are the fogs not working

i didn't use the harness that came with the kit i just hardwired them myself. it's a lot simpler

When you hard wired them what size fuse did you use to run them

It might be the grounds, depending on if there is paint behind the grounding point maybe it isn't grounding.

Then you either have a bad signal, bad lead to the battery, bad lead to a ground source, or the relay itself is bad. Try taking a wire and giving the relay power directly from the battery. If should click which tells you that it's working.
