I got a 93' Del Sol D16z6 with 180k.

I changed the spark plugs, ignition module, coil pack, cap and rotor, fuel filter and oil.

I started her up and she was idling normal but when I go to drive my tac is all over the place. While going 10mph it's jumping fom 4k-5k and it misfires like crazy.

Should I try different plugs? She was running fine before I changed everything.

 

Are the plug wires installed in the correct firing order? If so, have the "new" igniter unit tested and check that its wires are tight and installed correctly.

 

I do believe the firing order is correct but if a diagram is around that would be great. If the order was wrong it wouldn't start would it?

When I did change the plugs Cylinder #3 was fouled pretty bad.

Would the plugs cause my tac to jump all over the place?
