Default P2647

I was driving home and all sorts of lights started appearing on my dash checked the code when i got home says p2647 stock 2020 LX. Anyone know what it can be? I read it has something to do with the vtec switch but I don't know where it's located on the engine. Engine has approx 37k miles.

I plan to drop it off at the dealer assuming it's still under warranty and they fix anything wrong. Anything I should look out for or advise against with the dealership? It's my daily driver and im upset it has engine issues with such low miles. I baby the car everywhere. Some lights say Adaptive cruise control not operating brake systems failure all sorts of other lights like auto high beam not working.

Last time I had strange dash lights like tbis it was a bad battery and dealer replaced. Battery shows 14.5 with engine running.

It's still at the dealer they said I have several stored hard codes and they need more time to check but they think it should be covered under the warranty so I will see tomorrow, I guess.

One thing I noticed is I have a dual cig/ USB port that has the battery volt displayed and, on my way, I looked, and it shows 12.3 at idle at a stop light. When I pulled up into the dealer bay my headlights turned on because they are on auto and the volts jumped back up to 14.4 so when I turned it off the volts dropped back down to 12.4. So, I know the battery is low, but they claim they tested the battery, and it passed but I have a feeling it's because they replaced it last year under warranty and don't want too again. Regardless, if it's not covered under warranty I'll go to my local shop and have the battery tested and maybe the vtec solenoid as I read the code P2647 has something to do with my vtec pressure switch or something, I just don't know where it's located on this engine.

The Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch is located on the rocker arm oil control valve, passenger side of engine.

No. 14 in this parts image.

Thanks, I see another one which is #13 but is the sensor, is #13 or #14 the part I need to look at for the code I have?

Malfunction Threshold
When the rocker arm oil control solenoid is OFF, the rocker arm oil pressure switch remains OFF.

Possible Cause
NOTE: The causes shown may not be a complete list of all potential problems, and it is possible that there may be other causes.
  • Rocker arm oil control solenoid failure
  • Rocker arm oil control solenoid VTS line open
  • Rocker arm oil control solenoid VTS line short
  • Rocker arm oil pressure switch failure
  • Rocker arm oil pressure switch VTM line open
  • Rocker arm oil pressure switch VTM line short
  • Oil passage clogged

Thank you! Dealer called and said they traced it to a Rocker arm oil pressure switch failure and will replace it under power train warranty. But they still cant figure out why I have dash warnings, They asked me a silly question about my LED headlights and I told them they are direct repacements and I never had an issue, and plus the dash warning is about my Auto high beam not my low beams and the guy was like ok ill let the tech know and get back to you. I tried telling them my battery was reading 12.3 volts at idle and they said the only thing they can do is test the alternator and battery which passed. Im just hoping that maybe the check engine light is related to all the dash warnings and once thats fixed those should go away.

Some of the warnings were TMPS failure, ACC failure, lane assist failure, Auto high beam failure, brake Hold failure, maybe one or two more but is it possible these can from the windshield camera failure? or its needs to be re calibrated? I did have the windshield replaced a few months back but I had no issues with anything after it was replaced.

Update, part was covered under powertrain warranty thank God! $0.

Car drives much better! I guess I didn't notice how sluggish it was, now she's peppier and feels smoother!
