Help with AC/HEat system
Need advice on malfunctioning car heat and AC- Please help
Bought a 2011 civic in late june, with AC not working at all. Replaced the condensor, still didn't work. replaced compressor, still didn't work. replaced the blower motor, still didn't work. charged all systems, coolant, everything. no leaks, resister works.
It "worked" after all that, it would blow for about 45 minutes until it dimmed away and eventually no longer blowed any air. Usually when I started my car, if I felt air blowing it would work good for an hour. About 15% of the time, when I started my car, it wouldn't blow anything, and I knew it wouldn't work good
I should also note that when it would shut off after 45 min of driving, if I stopped and turned car off for 25-40 minutes it would work again.
For 3 days straight the air wouldn't blow at all when I turned it on, when it was like -10 degrees outside
I got someone to look at it, and they took out the air filter, and it was absolutely disgusting, we replaced with a new one.
Now, after replacing the air filter, the air literally blows so faint no matter what. and it shuts off after maybe 5 minutes. If you unplug the compressor(?) (could be condensor, idk, some1 told me) it would blow better, but now after a few days even if I unplug that it doesnt work at all barely.
Maybe its a rats nest in the resistor, motor? No idea. At this point I've spent $1000 in AC and Heat.
these problems are both AC and Heat, both with shutting off with driving and now neither blows.

Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? Its also not the blend door actuators or whatever.

It's lilely the expansion valve is bad. It doesn't regulate correctly and the evaporator frosts over and the thermostat turns off the compressor. After some minutes the evalorators thaws out and it works again until it frosts over again.
