Default calibrate the new clock spring

Hello - Someone stole my steering wheel air bag out of my 2017 Civic EX 2.0. Since wires were cut, It appears I need a new air bag assembly and clock spring. Does anyone know if I will need to "calibrate" the new clock spring and if so can it be done without a scanner?

Default Re: calibrate the new clock spring

The cable reel (clock spring) requires manual alignment of the arrow mark.

There isn't any calibration.

If the following were done, then the VSA Sensor Neutral Position Memorization should be performed with Honda HDS.

- Update or replace the VSA modulator-control unit.
- Update or replace the SRS unit.
- Remove the steering wheel.
- Disconnect the steering joint.
- Wheel alignment adjustment.
