Air conditioner, multiple rounds
Some history: 2018 Honda Civic had A/C repair work completed back in 2021 where I paid for the diagnosis test in full and was eventually reimbursed from Honda for the follow up "repair" that was done by the local Honda dealer. (Getting reimbursed, even after providing payment, was like pulling teeth and took SO long).
A couple of weeks ago, whenever I turned on the A/C, I noticed loud hissing noises and eventually a non-functioning A/C (it would blow, just not cold) When I recently took it in to a local repair shop, they noted the A/C was almost completely empty. Upon inspection, they found leftover dye from what I am assuming is the previous repair. They recharged the gas so I could at least have something (almost $450 with the new refrigerant) and they informed me of the service bulletin and warranty extension.
Anyone else had similar, persistent issues with their car's air conditioning and A/C? I would hope they would reimburse me for the gas I needed to have recharged at the local auto shop...

I just know it's common for the AC to fail, its covered under warranty but who wants to go through all that jazz, I simply don't use AC, not that it might break but I just don't use it in all of my cars, I prefer the open wind and not to breath the dirty filtered cabin air just my preference, plus on hot days it feels even hotter once you get out the car and have to adjust to the heat.
