2010 Civic Radio Not working
Hi, this is my first thread, and I wanted to see if I could get any help with my car. I have a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe EX and have discovered a recurring issue with the radio cutting in and out as if it cuts power. The lettering on the screen goes dim, and then a single beep noise plays. I would typically give it a couple of "love taps" which worked, but it was only a temporary fix. A few days ago, it was malfunctioning, so I took out the radio and noticed that one of the ribbon connections for the radio screen was loose, which I also fixed. It then worked fine. The problem with the cutting in and out was still happening, so I took the radio out again to try to assess it, and it seemed fine. However, when I turned on the car, the screen would not turn on, and none of the buttons worked except for the eject button for the CD. I checked out fuse 35 under the dash, and it seemed fine, but I replaced it just to be safe, and still nothing.
I don't really wanna spend $200+ for a new radio, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
