As my first modification to my 2001 Sedan LX, I chose Eibach Pro Street S

coilover/springs. After everything was down and tightened, i took the car down my

driveway. At the bottom a loud occurred, instantly pulled over. Open the trunk

to find that both rear Top Hats broke clean off. The top ring where the bushing and

Shock is screwed down had shot off like a beer bottle top. Now tirerack.com didn't

specify that i should buy after market tophats, so is there maybe something i did to cause this?

Installation wise, does the kit require you to use the factory top hats? If so, you might want to check the FAQ's for the spring installation link.

 

The specs are in german, and its a single sheet of paper. Been looking for an english pdf... nothing yet.
