prob not the update you guys want but im still pretty stoked about it. picked up some new headlights that look brand new aka NO hazing. one of mine fell and broke a lens in the garage so i scoop these up. hopefully this warmer weather will stick around and i can pull the motor out. still looking for a decently priced kpro.

 

I was sooooo excited when I saw a new post but it was just headlights... I don't mind. I just need to come to a realization that not everyone can work on cars year round like us Southern Californians can.

If you ever have hazing problems wet sanding and spraying a clear coat on works wonders. I did mine last year and the lenses are still nice and clear. Before I pulled the trigger on clear coating them, I was sanding them about twice a year.

 

lol yeah i dont have a garage to work in cause my parents converted theirs into a room and i live in an apartment. i saw the headlight restoration kit they have now but i completely broke the lens on my others. im debating on whether or not to open these and black them out.

 

My .02: Black out headlights look tacky on satin silver.

 

im just not a big fan of chrome

 

 

picked up some used neuspeed race springs. hopefully i will only be using the fronts. right now i have an even drop with H&R springs at 1.5 all around, but there is a larger gap in the front. it really bugs me. these springs do 2 in the front and 2.25 in the back. so i just want to pair the fronts with my H&R rears for 2 in the front and 1.5 in the back.

 

It's been half a month. Any update? Are you making 200 whp yet?

 

sorry ive had to do maintenance and repairs on my mx6. my build will prob resume after easter. im still looking for a red kpro cam gear as well.

 

finally found a red hondata/aem cam gear. now i needs kpro........
