Nothing lighter than 10 lbs. You would regret anything lighter.

ive never really grasped the idea of a lightned flywheel yet.... sure it makes your car rev faster in neutral..maybe more responsive at first touch of gas coming out of corner or whatnot.

but the concept of where the lightness is, is where i am confused.

if i was to take a 5lb ball, tie a string around it, and swing it. it would in fact be easier to swing at first (responsive portion).

but now if i put a 10 lb ball onto that same length string, it would be harder to get swinging around. but on the upside that heavier ball would take "less effort" to keep momentum up. the faster you swing the heavy ball...the easier it is to go to that next speed.

(i dont see people going out of the way to get lighter crankshaft's)

p.s....im just picking brains here since you are in the market for a needed flywheel.)

I have the exedy organic clutch. Known as the stage one, and the Fidanza 7 pound flywheel. I frickin love it. It's one of my favorite parts of my car right now.

I wrote a full review on it here:

I liked my 7lb as well. Just personal preference. Hondas don't make a ton of torque as it is anyway, so don't worry about your flywheel choice effecting that. Just buy a kit based on what your build has going on and what the kit is designed for.
