I have a Honda Civic 01 and I have a problem with my ECU fried told me that I got to replace this but when I went to install it I saw that the current model are different installed in my car is 37820-PLM-A53 and I replacement got 37820-PLM-A72.

There will be some inconvenience with this ECU or the same??

Your still using a PLM, which will be fine. But, you will need to have a Honda dealership match your keys to the immobilizer regardless of which ECU you use.

Its going to need a reflash to match the immobilizer ring, but yes it should work.
