Hey everyone i have a 2001 honda civic lx that has the airbag light on, i checked the code and i think it was a 10-1 (have to double check) if anyone can help me out on figuring out what the code is and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

 

I have a 03 EX sedan and the airbag light kept coming on. Turns out it was a seat belt issue. There was a recall and the dealer replaced the buckle and haven't had the prob since. I have no idea what the code was.

 

My civic is a salvage though and i dont know if the seat belt thing is still under that life time warranty do you know if that would even matter

 

10-1 Seat belt tensioner deployed...need new seat belt & SRS unit

Seat belt buckle code is 9-3

 

You tube has a great vid for seat-belt buckle repair/clean for code 9-3.
I have the same problem and will do this soon as the latest ice-age passes
