Default 01 Civic multiple problems

I just recently bought a 01 civic ex which had some mods done to it but I thought the price was right and went for it. First, the highbeams weren't working but now low beams aren't working either... I think the low beams have to do with a ground issue because 1 went out and when I was messing with ground the flickered. I put a meter on the highs and got no voltage at all so a short or open somewhere. Any common probs with this? Oh and the light assy is aftermarket but bulbs appear to be fine and normal.

Also the ac doesn't work. I tried recharging it but there seems to be a large amt of pressure on the low side, which made me think it was the high but the haynes manual I have shows a pic of the same spot. Not sure why this could be but it blows the cord off the bottle when I try to load the system.

Also the passenger power window doesn't work from both driver and passenger switches. Looking at the wiring diagram I could only conclude it was the motor but wanted a second opinion before I tear stuff apart.

Any ideas? I have other problems but I will tackle there first.

Did US market Civic's have some sort of campaign/recall for the headlight problems?
For your AC, are you using legtimate shop service equipment such as a recovery unit, recharge station, gauge set, vaccum pump, or are you just trying to dump some department store recharge in a can just because the AC is not working? Proper amount of R134a is 1.1 to 1.2 lbs, although seems to work ok with 2.0 lbs See how much R134a you can recover before adding non 134a top up cans. High and low pressure readings on the manifold gauge set? Clutch working when 12 volts applied?

I can check the charge but I'm not sure what you were saying in the rest of the paragraph. Will you elaborate?

I'd be interested to know about the headlight hi-beam issue too. mine dont work either. Is there a known issue with them?

my car have some similar issues.
my autolocks seems to wen out because of a shortage after i install the foglights. plus, the brake light on the guage is on and wont be able to turn it off. ac seems to went off too because no electrical power is going to the main stream of the ac to activate it to the vent. something like that. and when lights is on with door open without key, a beep sound usually emerge but now, that sound doesnt emerge no more. well, im getting it check this week so if any results come in, ill share...if you find anything, help share too.

There is a recall for headlight switch/wires. Sounds like an MICU problem.
