POLL: CCWs or Volks/Work??
I like rota's i cant justify buying 3500 dollar rim's for a car that is worth that much, let alone a car i drive all year around.Unless you really track your car race it or what ever it is that you need light rim's for buy them.I hear all this BS that rota's are cheap and break yada yada yada.I have had my jmags for two year's i dd them and nothing bad has happend.I tracked them i raced in them you name it i did it to them. You are buying a name and a lighter rim and some H-T fan boy love.Unless you really use the car i say buy rota's and enjoy the extra cash in your pocket.
Maybe or im just so worn out at work and dealing with all the bill's i had 3500 stuck in my head lol.Idk still 2k 1500 what ever if it's over 700 for the damm thing's im out lol.I love my car but dammn if i dented a rim or broke just one id be pissed!
Rotas are forged.Rota's forging process involves the use of hate on honda-tech's threads to smash the aluminium molecules together. On another note ccw's are well priced for a set of wheels in custom finishes, sizes, bolt patterns.Volk and Work would likely give you the same options if you bought 100 sets.I voted for Volk because they make my favorite wheel, the bronze mugen mf-10.
Word of mouth, is that Rays forges wheels for Mugen which, seeing as how Rays is an extremely well known and reputable company, that shouldn't be an issue. Although my Mugen wheels have said "Mugen Forged", people believe that Rays includes that for them. I've emailed King Motorsports recently, still awaiting reply.
The only thing that doesn't make sense to me, is the RNR's I just purchased were made in a way Mugen (M-TEC Co. LTD.?) called "squeeze process" done by Mugen back when they were first made for the eg chassis.

Also, why are Rotas even being thrown out there. I'm aware that there is an 'other' category, but i'm assuming other would be another quality, ORIGINAL design wheel, not a sub par copy of the ones the OP listed.
They're all great wheel companies. I like Work and Rays/Volk mostly due to their history. They have a lot of really nice old school designs to go along with their current line-up. CCW has a great thing going. As long as they continue to do as they are, they'll always be one of the greats.
isn't this question a little relative? it's a little vague to ask what wheel is "best" from 3 very different yet nearly equally quality wheel makers. a more specifically stated question may garner an answer you will be happy with.
$3500 for 18's and about a 3-5month wait on them as well. both of his sets took 5+ months to get here. so yea $3500. Now you could get some work emotions for around $500 a wheel. but those are cast wheels made by a good company. And i have ccws and would rather have meisters so im not biased by any means. and my other wheels are rays. ive owned all 3 and have favorites about all companies.

ok im pretty bad at math but you said about $600 a wheel for volks, now multiply that by 4 and you come up with $2400 now correct me if im wrong but isnt a set of rotas like $600 if im doing this right then yes volks are about 4x the amount of rotas.
