He is Refering to the optional Cornering lights for the Jdm front bumper not sure if he or I used the correct name but they're suppose to light up the curb as you take corners I believe. Rare and hard to find sorry maybe someone else can help you Good luck OP.

I have a set of these (not for sale) and I did a little research before I got them, much less installed them.

There's two general styles of intersection/cornering lights.

The first gen ones are smaller and more square. They basically look older. You'll find these often for the 4G ('90-'93) Accord, for example, and other models of similar years.

The second gen ones are more of a trapezoid type shape. They're the ones pictured above on the red Integra with the JDM front end. These lights were used on 6G ('96-'00) Civics, 3G ('94-'01) Integras, 1G ('97-'01) CRVs and other models of similar years.

You have two options when you buy your set. New or used. These items were available in the US as an optional part for a few cars (not the Civic or Integra iirc), but, as most optional parts from this year range of vehicle now are, the lights have been discontinued and stock has been depleted.

So as you can imagine new sets are hard to come by. I think I've seen one.

Used sets are usually in decent condition since, although they have entirely plastic housings, the lights are shielded from most damage by being off to the side of the bumper. Still, when you buy them used you won't be getting the entire set up. Most of the used units seem to come from overseas (Japan).

The worst thing about buying them used is that you will likely only get the light assemblies and nothing more.

Start collecting photos of the model car you own with the front end you own. You're going to need to judge where to cut your bumper and the templates originally came with the lights when purchased new. Unfortunately they weren't a print out piece of the instructions.

Let me know if there's anything else you need to know.

An example; my '98 Civic with second gen lights:

Just another madtitejdmyo thing that people want for kudos. I don't believe a single person who says they bought these because they look good. They bought them because they're rare and having "rare" **** makes you "cool" when you're hard parked.

The same people who call people "bro" and "fool" are into this crap.

I bought them to help make my car a little bit more visible with where I intend to move the car on the road. They definitely feel to me like they're more useful as a lane changing light than a light to indicate that I'm making a turn. If there were more pedestrians where I live it might be a bit more useful in town. I do think some people want them without even knowing their function or how to make them function correctly.

They're an indicator light. Nothing more.

Why does anyone really care if someone else buys something because they think it's pretty or because they want to tear the **** out of it (I can understand frustration with the last thing if the part is so difficult and uncommon to find and you're seeing this person actually needlessly destroy said part)?

I'm looking for window visors for my CRX too. Oh noooooo!

But telling people their parts are ugly or stupid doesn't really solve or help anything. If you want to point out a quality or safety issue, sure, that makes sense. Honestly, if someone walked up to you and said they didn't like something about your car and explained why they thought it was useless or presumed it was purchased for the wrong reason, you'd probably be left at least feeling a little confused at why this person thought their opinion mattered anyway.

Your comment is seriously more useless than these lights.

Proclaiming your dislike for JDM parts or hard parking or whatever is just as cliche as proclaiming your love for the same.

Touche, however, this thread is still stupid and there really is no argument that this is in the wrong thread section.
