diff between ctr headlights n replicas?
im just wondering, how much of a difference does the real ctr headlights and the replica ctr headlights look from each other? can u tell the ctr replicas are straight up fake from 10 feet bakc or not really?
You can if you know what to look for. The real CTR lights are going to have a shiney black metallic hue to the inside and in the right light will emit a bronzish hues from the houseing. The replicas are typically just a black housing with no shine or metallic hue to them.

Not bad that is one of the few that I have seen that have the sheen of the real one. The fake ones that I had did not have the shiney finish but they also did nto have that stupid reflector either
I sold my fakes when I got a really good deal on the real thing.

i've used aftermarket one's before.. they were crap. yeah those do look pretty good.. i just weighed the idea of having to replace a set of aftermarket lights if they f'd up..like moisture inside etc.. and said.. just in case... ill take the real thing... now all i have to do is make sure i dont scratch em...
good find tho.. maybe ill buy those look-a-likes for my other ek... one set of real one's is good enough.. they were pretty pricey

I never had a problem with my fake ctr headlights fogging up. The tail lights I bought however I have had to add some silicone here and there to seal them up.
