i posted up on the "post your srr parts" thread and im buyng some in a few weeks. im paying a pretty penny but i really want some. what mugen are you running right now?
a quick release thread comes up about every 6 months on this site.
i went to a hardware store and bought stainless cabinet latches that attached with 4 small self tapping screws. everywhere i go, i get stopped and asked where i got them and what they cost. "hardware store, 2 dollars"
they do the job, and they are about the size of a nickel.

i have a set of the SRR's.. i would say they are by far the best looking... but they still require holes to be put in the bumper... mine actual work not just for show either
if you think bumper quick releases are a new thing, you haven't been doing this long man.
its just another one of those ones that almost almost catches about ever 6 months. for a trend to catch, someone like heymikeeyyy has to do it, and a person like hasback has to take pictures of it and make a thread. then a person with some type of squad name in their sig with a member number less than 20 has to comment on that part, giving it much praise like "nice bumper release". then when the thread makes it to page 5 or so, youll see that particular piece start popping up on every rota-clad, ebay-mobile on the net.
THAT is how trends are born.

Kinda from the dead, but the SRR quick releases are very, very similar to narled nuts in the hardware section of Lowes anodized in red or purple. Its amazing how overpriced these things are.. The setup can be made for < $3 for both sides of the bumper.
Those who are interested in BUMPER QUICK RELEASES!
Ill be selling a similar design as the SRR in about a week! They'll be available in a hard clear, black, or blue anodize and will include all hardware.
PM for details.

Ugh. I had the SRR's on my car, daily'd, turbo'd, track'd -- so the front end came off a lot--- ****ing rubber dried and cracked on me in about one month, and the purple anodized finish faded instantly. Worst product to have ever bought. Hopefully yours are better!
