I have a 1990 Accord DX 2 door. The key is stuck in the start position and the lock wont let it come back to 1 And the key will also come out of the ignition. Is there anything I can do just to un-stick it just so I can get it to the shop? Any help would be appreciated.

 

That happened to my buddies Civic like 2 weeks ago. You need a new lock cylinder. They cost like $20 at Autozone. Don't let them tell you that you have to buy the whole assembly. That comes with the ignition switch and costs like $120!

 

thats what I thought> They actually only want 10.00 with a new tumbler and key. I just cant get it out. And now I cant remember which plug wires go where on the distributor. Is there anywhere I can find this?
