Default removing front bumper

My brother just got some jdm headlights but we are having a problem removing the front bumper....if anything we cant get to the plastic gromets that are under the headlight housing. There are two under each one and we cant get the headlight housing out to get to these. Any suggestions?

oh man this is going to be a pain
you must loosen the stock headlights to get at the plastic screws under the headlights...

when you reinstall the bumper cover, might we recommend that you leave out the screws from underneath the headlights... they're really not essential to have, and are more of a pain in the *** than anything else....

yeah man i just did this a few weeks ago.. I actually thought for a short time that I was supposed to break the seal on the headlight cover to be able to remove the damn things... fortunately I realized how unnecassary they are and I used a utility knife to cut off the head of the clips.

good luck with that by the way. once you take a bumber off it never seems to go back on the same way....

1. one 10mm bolt at corner of bumper inside wheel well.

2. remove bumper lights

3. 2 12mm(i believe) bolts behind each side.

4. bumper will fall on you, just taking out those 6 bolts will remove the bumper... you have no need to take out those damn platic things...

takes me 15min to take off/put on my bumper.

if i remember correctly there is an 8mm bolt on each side in the fender well, a plastic screw grommet under each corner light, 6 of those damn grommets, two more where the bumper lights are that screw upwards, and a few screws on the bottom that screw to that plastic lining to the fenders....or at least thats the ones that were on his car.

The jdm headlights look pretty damn good. Ill post some pics soon as i get a few pics of them

cant you just slide in the oem jack on the side and lift the car enough with that to clear the front... thats what i do.
