Default power window problem

I have a little problem that has been bugging me for a while now. The passenger side window doesn't seem so close all the way up and you can hear a lot of air noise while driving on the freeway. I have also noticed that when I put the window up it kinda jumps like its loose or something. Before I tackle this problem, are there any parts that i should buy or could it be that some bolts got loose and i just need to tighten them up?

edit: took the door panel off and even took the window out and i still cant figure out what is wrong. when i put the window back in, it doesnt even go all the way up, it stops about an inch from the top and i have to push it up with my hands. also when the window is pushed up all the way, i can hear the motor spinning but nothing moves. does anyone have any idea of what might be going on? seems like something needs to be adjusted, but i have no idea what..

Sounds like the regulator is bad or not adjusted properly.

I have the same issue currently, I know the problem, just need to fix it...

Your window regulator is either going bad OR you need to open the door, bring your window down so you can see the bolts, have a friend raise the window up (it should only move a smidge) and tighten the bolts that hold it into place.

Cake fix, just time consuming.

Is the weatherstip binding at all? I would check the end that goes into the window channel. I noticed on my 96 sedan that the ends only goes +/- 1/2 way down. If it's not seated properly, then it can create a seal issue when the window is closed.

Regulators are cheap, change it and be done with it.

Sometimes its not the regulator. Try operating the regulator with the glass out. When the glass can't move in the weatherstrip properly, it will get off track and won't close. I wan putting my rear door back together recently and noticed that when the weatherstrip wasn't seated properly the glass didn't go all the way up. Just double check.
