Default Odd MAP sensor problem

Hello all, long time reader first time poster before i start let me say i have indeed searched and have found nothing for the past 2 days as to the answer of my problem so hopefully one of you can help.

The Car
1992 Accord
H22
OBD1 F22 engine harness with OBD2 injectors (resistor box has been bypassed)
JDM OBD1 H22 ECU (cant think of the ecu number off the top of my head sorry)

The Problem

I am working on this car for a friend of mine it is a 92 accord with a H22 in it, the problem begins when i try to start the car it will start but die around 15 seconds later while it is running during those 15 seconds the thing hisses spits and has a slight miss/backfire to it, now if i spray a decent amount of brake cleaner in it it will start do the same thing for about 20-25 seconds then smooth out and run just fine but if i turn the ignition off and try to re-start the engine it returns to the same thing of dieing after about 10-15 seconds but if i start it again and throttle the gas on and off slightly for about 25 seconds it will again smooth out and idle/run just fine.

Odd problem right? It gets better now all the time its doing this the car has fuel and spark, replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cleaned cap, rotor was fine, checked the timing TDC on number one both cam arrows pointing strait up (from what i have read this is correct), tested injectors, tried different ECU, tested FPR every thing is working as it should to my knowledge compression is OK not as great as it should be but OK with all being with in 6 psi of each other tried 2 different map sensors still same thing, even tried all my grounds thinking maybe it was one of them but it wasn't tested the TPS was around 0.60v at idle ramps to under 5v under WOT its driving me nuts. Now the kicker is just out of curiosity i decided to try and unplug the map just to see what happens sure enough the car kicks right over and idles (not well mind you LOTS of missing at idle and hesitation with backfiring under load of course) but idles none the less plug the map back in NOTHING changes turn the key off and back on with map plugged in still runs as if it were still unplugged, then i disconnected the battery to clear the ECU start it and then it dies again like in the beginning of my post i then un plug the map again starts right up and idles :/

Now i did notice the map wires had been cut before for some reason and checked the wiring which is showing

front view of plug

towards the ground > { [b/w] [w/b] [r/w] }

b= blue
w= white
r= red
/= and

Now I'm not sure if this is correct as the wiring diagrams i have found have been nothing but rubbish i know they are the right colors just not sure if the locations are correct. As for ECU codes being thrown there are two one for 02 sensor (will have it hooked up in the morning) and VTEC ( will deal with this AFTER i get it to run right)

Any help would be appreciated this thing is driving me nuts.
Thank you for your time

Well. . TPS idle setting is very high. Its' supposed to be 0.45 @ idle. I Don't know if that would FIX this problem, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to calibrate it adequately. Good luck !
