Default i-vtec

I read an article in Import Tuner on the F20C with a kit being made to retrofit with i-vtec. Has anyone tried this with fwd f series engine?

it's best to consider the F20C a K-series motor... it's as much like a K20 than it is any other F-series.

still interested to see the article and what it took to add the i-VTEC

The F20C is not even in the same ball game. The article is in the January 2010 issue of import Tuner. The reason they did this is to get the tunability of iVTEC. They were able to pull out some crazy numbers in the lower rpms, and coupled with a turbo that engine just kept on pulling. At 4000 RPM they were able to put down 99+ hp, 130ftlbs of torque more than with the VTEC setup from the s2k.
