Default Finally getting H22!

Wanted someone to verify my list, to see if I am missing anything

1) New Accord Axles
2) New Accord Motormounts (front/tranny/rear)
3) New Prelude Motormounts (driver)
4) H22
5) LSD Tranny
6) ECU
7) Timing Belt/Water Pump kit (both for h22??)
8) New clutch/flywheel
9) OBDII to OBDI w/ VAFC prewiring

Anything else I"m missing?

Obviously I'll be doing the following:
- major service (timing belt/water pump)
- new mounts
- new clutch/flywheel
- new axles

Any other suggestions or something I missed?

I'll be working alongside a local shop since I don't have an engine hoist and power tools for the job.

What all is involved in that - I've heard about it but haven't done any research?

It's a JDM OBDI H22A

why waste your mone on a VAFC???? the look cool but are gay!! IMO...chipped P28 with crome......anyway..I would hiughly reccomend 3'' exhaust, modifyinfg your header using a ball and socket combo to accept the 3'' exhaust...and a good tuner....

I managed to get 201 whp and 165 tq outta a stock H22 it was fuuun...GL man

I've been told by quite a few friends that a vtec controller does quite a bit of good with the h22.

right now it's just the stopck p13, i may upgrade later on, we'll see what's u

all I saying is that it's not needed in the least...unless you want the looks?? they do look kinda cool...I'd much rather invest in a chipped P28 which you will be able to have a more effective tune with...I also reccomend motor mount inserts for the front and rear.......I had 3 H22s and I knwo what works for em just my 2 cents

yeah i'm planning on down the road playing with it, right now due to lame ex-gf's funds are low

i'm planning on OEM mounts with polyeurathane (sp?) from like home depot

and right now just stock motor/what not

I'll be doing regular maintenence before dropping it in

if i do anything, all motor rather than turbo

post dyno sheets or ban

On a stock motor, expecially hondas, a 3 inch exhaust alone will actuially cause the motor to run like crap. You will lose back pressure, and lose power.

You should never go over 2.5" full exhaust on a naturally aspirated honda motor. If you boost, then you will need the bigger exhause to bring the power up.

yeah i'll be holding onto it for now

I was looking at the costs of upkeep with current motor/miles to just the price of the motor swap.

Timing Belt/Water Pump on F22 - ~600-700
Axles - ~300 (from a shop)
Some power steering boot - ~ 200

So over a grand on a motor that has 200k or spend 1800 and get a 30k motor and then spend an extra ~ 300 for brand new parts

It seems that the auto to manual tensioner conversion is a must.

Good luck with the swap
